In the brimming border town of Thailand - Nong Khai, i finally bought my first book of the travel - "Monsoon Country" written by Pira Sudham in English about life in Thailand. The novel revolves around the period when Thailand was poor, suppressed and under martial rule.

Sukhothai, Thailand - Feb 07, 2008
Today could very well be the day when i have exchanged the maximum number of greetings in my life. Cycling across the several small villages and farms around Sukhothai, we are cheeringly greeted with a "Hello" from almost every house by children, women and men.
