Hello Happiness!!!

Today could very well be the day when i have exchanged the maximum number of greetings in my life. Cycling across the several small villages and farms around Sukhothai, we are cheeringly greeted with a “Hello” from almost every house by children, women and men.
Sukhothai, which means the “rising of happiness” was perfectly reflected in its true spirit by its people. When i checked with “Am” our tour guide whether its something special to the bicyclers or this circuit of travel alone; she said no, it common to all visitors.
We could have easily exchanged over a HUNDRED(!!!!) hello’s and hi’s and in dense habitations, the enthusiastic children were all lined up in the paths extending their hands to be touched and we wishing not to disappoint any were leaning precariously to touch their little palms as we drive past.
One of the most memorable moment of this travel….
